Ky

Kay

Kay started learning traditional bellydance in 2001, and was inspired to start studying Tribal style after seeing a performance by Rachel Brice. She has since completed 2 intensive training courses with Paulette Rees-Dennis, founder and Director of Gypsy Caravan Dance Company, and more recently she gained her General Skills in the FatChanceBellyDace format after completing another intensive training course with Carolena Nericcio (the creator of American Tribal Style).

Kay set up performance troupe Ashnah in 2008, and has choreographed many of the group's dances as well as leading and teaching the tribal side of their repertoire. If you've been to an OMEDS hafla lately, you've probably seen Ashnah's beautiful and colourful performances!
