Class Info:

Beginners: In this class we will teach the basics of belly dance, as well as a few basic combinations. Those of you who have attended the Beginners class previously are welcome to join it again to practice and improve your style.

Improvers: This class is the next level after Beginners. We will look at combining movements, moving smoothly from one move to another, and improving technique. We will also learn a fun choreography that can be performed at Haflas and other parties. This class is suitable for dancers who have taken a beginners course but do not yet feel confident enough to join the Intermediate class (or would like some extra practice).

Intermediate: This class is for more experienced dancers and will focus on combining movements, improving technique, interpreting music, improvisation and choreography.

Tribal: This class is suitable for dancers of all levels. Tribal belly dance borrows heavily from Indian Khatak, Flamenco and Romany tradition. It has a wonderful earthy feel and is a great way to learn how to dance with a group.
