Bellydance Classes in Oxford
Oxford Middle Eastern Dance Society organises bellydance lessons and classes, parties, performances and workshops in Oxfordshire.
We are a non-profit organisation run by volunteers, and aim to provide good value, high quality classes and events in the local community and promote involvement in and better understanding of this beautiful and elegant dance form.
We currently offer classes in Oriental bellydance, and run a tribal style bellydance practise group, whilst more experienced dancers have the opportunity to join our student performance troupe.
Our haflas take place twice a year in spring and autumn, and feature performances from OMEDS students, teachers, and other local dance groups. We also host smaller parties which include informal performances and social dancing.
We also have a facebook group, where you can post photos from our events.
